Interview with Hayakawa

We had the opportunity to have a little talk with Hayakawa, and this is what he shared with us:

Question: So Haya, which ones are your favourite to become a moderator?

Answer: “I kinda like Vixen and Yuna, I dont know them personally though, but I think from afar they look like good mods, we’ll see ^^”

Question: What do you think about the current mod staff?

Answer: “I think they’re good people, love ‘em all, they’re some problems”

Question: There are some rumours going around about a new update from Monster & Me, what can you tell us?

Answer: “I heard from from deep in the dark depths of devil room that one of the GM is working on a future event, I have no further details to share, but you know me, the second I find something out, you’ll find out too”

Question: The population is kinda low, dont you think?

Answer: “Yes, I think its really low, I feel sad when I log in and see Water City only half as bustling as it once was”

Question: Do you have any idea to get more people to join Monster & Me?

Answer: “We need more community involvement, people need to feel welcome. I think by making bots public, the new players won’t feel cheated, I hope they`ll understand there is more to MM than just clicking FIGHT… We have a good community system, and there’s an interesting strategic element. To promote fansites, I’ll be adding fansite banners to the forums homepage soon, people can submit them to me…”

Question: But TQ as a company does not seem interested on reviving Monster & Me, No GMS, no publicity, without their help I dont think monster & me will go back as old days…

Answer: “The GM will always provide us with event items, we already have the entire Foalspy series on board, but we need to launch a good event… However, we want to see more server events. Events held by the admins are only so-good, not enough… Just enough for a temporary boost”

Question: Do you think that maybe in a near future, MoO and LoD will merge?

Answer: “I’d like to remove the server select screen, and just have the login interface…. Forget LoD… It needs to be merged, it’s going to die soon”

So people, hopefully TQ won’t let us down and we will get a new update..

Get ready for the next moderators, we will prolly see Vixen and Yuna as the winners!

Moderators

As you might had already noticed, the new applications for being a Moderator are now available! so if you wanna be a moderator don’t waste your time and send your application right away! It has already announced that two are gonna be the lucky winners (lucky?) who would they be?

Candidates so far are MysticSoul, Saberdeath, Febreeze, Hikari, Yuna, Regnier and Vixen.

Moderators are still discussing who is going to be the next two moderators…

Speculations:

Saberdeath - Got the support from LordCrim since he moderates on his forum, so prolly one of the winners

MysticSoul - Got lot of negative points on his side…so probably not. Sorry!

Febreeze - Same as MysticSoul…Sorry again

Hikari - Interesting application, though he might not be one of the winners but i’m sure this one surprised the mod staff since he speaks so many languages, wouldnt be bad for the international language section isn’t?

Yuna - Probably one of the winners, she was one of the mods of Crazy Tao (Sucky game from TQ) and as far as I know, she did a good job

Regnier - Got lot of negative points on his side, though! he is still respectful, I think this kind of person would do a nice job as a mod, you got my vote!

Vixen - Probably also one of the winners, sources say she is helpul, get along well, known (I didn’t know her until like 4 days ago)

A poll about the next moderators will be posted soon, but! the one with more votes won’t win, since the voting will be just for the moderators to get an idea of who would do a good job, but the decision are still on hands of the moderators.

So ladies and gentlemen, you heard the Monster & Me News speculations, let’s wait for the results and see if we were close! which we probably will!

Legalizing bots?

“Should we legalise bots in the forums?” those were the words from Hayakawa, one of the admins of the official Monster & Me forums, who started a thread about if the bot talking should be allowed. He also expressed how he would like the idea of also host them on the official Monster & Me homepage, even though he was talking about some English bots. English bots? hey! HLHL* is already translated into the English…dah? plus, didn’t TenLaunch^ made things easier for us? that program is very handy. Plus, he said he rather host them on the Monster & Me homepage so people don’t risk their computers for downloading programs from a third party computer, hey! how many years have we’ve done it like this way? isn’t like too late? plus have we heard about someone complaining because he got a virus by downloading a Monster & Me Bot? I don’t think so. Besides, wouldn’t be better if they solve other problems? such as the in-game issues, gem issues, rather than just a bot which really haven’t been a problem because in-game people find out about the bots sooner or later, and of course MnMSS.Net provides them freely, so is this such a problem to start solving?

Even though the community is happy about this decision, but would it make any difference? If so, How? We are looking forward for more information about this, keep in touch with us!
